About me 🤠

I'm Audun Hilden, a full-stack developer who spends all his freetime working on side projects.

I am currently employed as an IT Operations Engineer at Helsetjenestens driftsorganisasjon for nødnett HF, where I work on maintaining the communication solution for the emergency network in Norway.

My ultimate goal is to become financially independent, whether through a successful side project or through a career in freelancing.

I am also genuinely curious about the future. It's kind of exciting. Especially when considering the distinction between those who are successful and those who are dissatisfied with their current circumstances, often comes down to the prioritization of goals in relation to distractions or vices.

So — one can develop the mental fortitude necessary to achieve a significant level of influence and impact.

It wasn't until later when I realized that Rocketprices (a side project I had in 2017) had been used by approx. 8 million people — I started thinking this way.

If one person can do so "little" compared to the impact (1/8,000,000) — where do I sign up to further develop those skills?

To optimize my productivity, I have established a daily routine that includes waking up at 2am and dedicating the first 5 hours of my day to personal projects and self-improvement.

I also prioritize reading, currently focusing on The Millionaire Master Plan.

Everything I went through from 2016-2019 with Rocketprices was absolutely sick. I was 15 years old, and suddenly I was sitting in meetings and answering business emails (50-150 emails a day). This experience was decisive for my career.

You could say I got a dopamine rush, but - not until a few years later.
It took me a few years to realize what I had achieved, not to mention the mistakes I made along the way and how I could have done things differently.

In additon, I know that 15-year-old me has done it before.
